New Rangeland Center Receives Outreach Award

The newly created Rangeland Center at the University of Idaho recently received the Shoot for the Stars – Most Innovative Outreach Award from the National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association.
The award recognizes the range program’s outreach efforts that produce responsive and relevant solutions to contemporary rangeland issues and specific examples of innovation, such as Professor Karen Launchbaugh recent efforts to establish and launch the Rangeland Center. The Center empowers researchers and educators at the University of Idaho to create active partnerships with individuals, organizations and communities who work and live on vast landscapes.
The National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association provides education, support and recognition for individuals dedicated to expanding resources for land grant and other colleges of agricultural sciences and related programs.
