National Depression Screening Day
Thursday, September 26 2013
As part of National Depression Screening Day (Oct. 10), a one-day outreach, education and screening event, the University of Idaho Counseling & Testing Center (CTC) would welcome the opportunity to provide the screening to classes.
The program aims to raise public awareness that mood and anxiety disorders are common and often undetected disorders, for which there are many effective treatments, and to identify those students at-risk for mood and anxiety disorders and refer them for treatment.
The (CTC) also will be providing free, anonymous screenings to students and community members from 10:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m. in the Idaho Commons on Oct. 10.
If faculty is interested in providing this service to their class, please contact Sharon Fritz at 885-6716 or firstname.lastname@example.org
