McCall Outdoor Science School Serves Over 500 Idaho Youth This Fall

The McCall Outdoor Science School recently completed its 11th fall season of residential programming. Seventeen CNR graduate students mentored by MOSS faculty and staff Steve Hollenhorst, Karla Bradley Eitel, Gary Thompson, Jenny Schon and Jan Eitel taught hands-on science inquiry field studies to 562 Idaho fifth and sixth graders between September and November. Schools came from as far east as Pocatello and as far north as Moscow. Winter field science programming will begin on Jan. 17, 2012.
