Malcolm Renfrew at 100: Centennial Celebration and Re-dedication of Renfrew Hall

The University of Idaho will celebrate Professor Emeritus of Chemistry Malcolm M. Renfrew’s 100th birthday and the re-dedication of Renfrew Hall with a special gathering on Saturday, Oct. 16. The event includes remarks by President M. Duane Nellis at 2:15 p.m., light refreshments and an exclusive viewing of Renfrew’s watercolors coordinated by the Palouse Watercolor Socius will be offered.
Professor Renfrew '32, '34, Honorary Degree '76 is an outstanding alumnus; accomplished chemist and researcher; a leader in higher education, heading the University of Idaho's physical sciences and chemistry departments; a philanthropist, watercolorist and revered member of his community.
The re-deication celebration is open to everyone.
