Tuesday, August 3 2010

Over 200 geographers from Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Nevada will meet at the Coeur d'Alene Resort September 15-18 for the annual meeting of the Association of Pacific Coast Geographers.

The conference, organized and hosted by the University of Idaho Department of Geography, will begin with field trips to the Palouse, the Silver Valley, the Coeur d'Alene-Sandpoint corridor, and to the sites of the great fires of 1910 in northern Idaho, and then move into two days of sessions featuring geographic research being done at universities throughout the western region.
