Food Safety Advisor Program (formerly Master Food Preserver)

The University of Idaho will sponsor a food safety advisor program Tuesdays from April 10 thru May 29  from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Individuals will learn how to safely preserve a variety of food products. Topics will include canning fruits, tomatoes and low acid foods, making jams, jellies and preserves, pickling, dehydration and freezing. The program will include lectures and hands-on labs. The $140 fee will cover binders, reference materials, food and supplies used in class.
