Central America Youth Ambassador (CAYA) Program Session Begins
Tuesday, March 25 2014
The International Programs Office (IPO) is getting ready to welcome the new group of students for the spring session of the Central America Youth Ambassador (CAYA) Program. March 26 - April 1, CAYA participants will work in teams to create models for sustainable social entrepreneurship and have a chance to interact with faculty and students from the University of Idaho, instructors from Vandal Innovation and Enterprise Works (VIEW) and students from Vandal Solutions.
CAYA is a collaborative partnership between the University of Idaho, the Center for Intercultural Education and Development (CIED) at Georgetown University and is funded by the US Department of State. The program provides young people from Central America with an opportunity to experience local American culture, society, and education, and increase mutual understanding among peoples of the Americas. The International Programs Office (IPO) is proud to have been awarded the CAYA grant for the last few years.
