Bridge Idaho students win honor

Wednesday, April 23 2014

University of Idaho’s Bridge Idaho is celebrating the success of several of its high school students. Lawpai high school students Lydia Skahan and Kevin Tannehill both received a Gates Millennium Scholarship. They are two of only 1,000 students nationwide to receive this award that essentially covers all costs for the college education. In addition, Anna Grimaldo, a senior in Orofino, received a $30,000 Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship. The College of Education congratulates them and thanks coordinators Randi Bennett and Megan Bircher for all their hard work in supporting these students.
