Beef 300 Short-Course

Wednesday, January 5 2011 to Saturday, January 8

Beef 300 is a hands-on short-course, sponsored by University of Idaho and Washington State University, for progressive individuals involved in the beef industry anywhere from farm to retail.

This 4-day course will cover the links in the production chain and their interdependence, so more informed decisions can be made to improve profitability, competitiveness and wholesomeness of the products being produced. There will also be hands-on training that illustrates the value-determining factors that influence prices.

Please join us January 5 – 8, 2011 at the U of I Meat Laboratory/WSU Meat Laboratory. The cost is $200 and the deadline to register is December 15, 2010. Since the class is limited to 32 participants, it will be on a first pay-first serve basis. Please view the brochure and registration form. For more information, please call (509) 754-2011, ext 413.
