Alumni Association to Host April 11 Awards Ceremony in Coeur d’Alene

MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Alumni Association will bestow awards to four individuals at its annual spring Silver and Gold celebration Wednesday, April 11 at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, 115 S. Second St. in Coeur d'Alene. A social hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by the presentation of awards. M. Duane Nellis, U-Idaho president, will be a special guest. The event is open to public.
 
Awards and recipients are:
 
  • The Jim Lyle Award honoring volunteer service to the University of Idaho will be presented to Mike and Carol Wilson, '77 and '78 respectively, of Coeur d’Alene.

  • Silver and Gold Award honoring a distinguished record of achievement and service will be presented to Dennis E. Wheeler '66 '67 of Coeur d’Alene.

  • Honorary Alumni recognition honoring faithful and distinguished service to the University of Idaho will be presented to Ben R. Rolphe of Coeur d’Alene.

Registration is requested before April 5. Ticket costs are: $25 adults, $15 for graduates of the last decade and $10 for children. Online registration is available at www.uirsvp.com.
