Northwest Navy

Northwest Navy is the annual competition between the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) units at the University of Idaho/Washington State, the University of Utah, the University of Washington, and Oregon State University. It is held every spring and includes a variety of competition categories and teams.

This year, the four universities met at the University of Utah from April 11th to 13th, 2014. The midshipmen of UI/WSU were excited to participate and compete this year and held multiple practices with their respective teams to prepare. University of Idaho and Washington State University took first place in the Combat Fitness Test, Physical Readiness Test, and Basketball as well as placing second and third in many other events. Two UI/WSU midshipmen were also recognized for the highest score in the Combat Fitness and Physical Readiness Tests for the entire competition.
