National Merit Scholarship Program $50,000+

The University of Idaho enrolls the second highest number of National Merit Scholars of all public institutions in the Northwest, and has 10 times as many as all other Idaho schools combined. This four-year program guarantees a full-ride that covers university-defined educational costs for basic fees and tuition, room and board, and books for up to 25 new freshmen who achieve the following:

• Apply for admission by February 15
• Finalist standing with National Merit Scholarship Corporation
• Declare University of Idaho as first school of choice with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation by their April deadline
• Submit copy of your National Merit Finalist letter to the Financial Aid Office
• 3.0 University of Idaho GPA for renewal

 *Out-of-state tuition is waived for nonresidents and increases the value of the award to $90,000.
