Outreach

The Physical Education Program faculty conducts outreach programs to promote physical activity in schools and the community.  The program is dedicated to improving physical activity participation in Idaho communities and beyond.  The goals for the outreach program in physical activity pedagogy include:

1.  To foster and generate effective physical activity pedagogy practice and research in order to improve the well-being of society through physical activity mediums.
2.  To work with communities to serve, build, and advance the physical activity culture.
3.  To serve as a resource (e.g., virtual & tangible) center for University of Idaho students and faculty, community practitioners, stakeholders and officials with an interest in physical activity pedagogy teaching and research.
