Mental Well-being
Mental well-being involves how we recognize and respond to our emotions, feelings, and mental health.
At the University of Idaho, we’re committed to supporting students through the good times and the not so good times. We do this through promoting positive coping strategies through campus-wide mental health promotion initiatives and by providing counseling and psychiatric services for all U of I students. We also strive to reduce the stigma around mental illness on our campus by training campus community members as gatekeepers, supporting an Active Minds club, and operating the VandalCare reporting system.
