Voluntary Benefits
At University of Idaho, we know that dental and vision are important to your overall health. Taking care of your dental and vision needs can help prevent problems down the road. That is why U of I is offering voluntary dental and vision insurance plans that can allow students access to the care that they need in their area.
If you enroll in the voluntary program, please note that the charge will not appear on your student account but will be paid directly to the insurance company.
Taking care of your health goes beyond regular medical checkups. Dental health is just as important to your overall well-being. A confident smile can help serve your relationships and support your performance at school and at work. Having a UnitedHealthcare-branded dental plan, underwritten by Golden Rule Insurance Company, a UnitedHealthcare company, can provide additional coverage to help protect your overall health and budget.
