QPR Suicide Prevention
QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer. It is an evidenced-based, 1-hour training program to help faculty, staff and students respond to someone in a mental health crisis and thinking about suicide.
Participants will learn how to:
- Recognize the warning signs of suicide
- Offer hope
- Get help and save a life
12-1 p.m. Oct. 22 in the Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) Horizon Room
12-1 p.m. Nov. 4 in the Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) Horizon Room
12-1 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) Horizon Room
