Got Impact?

Funding agencies are placing increasing emphasis on activities that bring your science to a broader audience, but these can be logistically difficult to plan and may be outside of your area of expertise.

The McCall Outdoor Science School can help!

The McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS) is a program of the University of Idaho. The School and its partners foster scientific literacy, enlightened leadership and open-minded dialogue through graduate and professional education, youth science programs, seminars, conferences, and leadership development initiatives. Founded in 2001, MOSS is the only publicly operated K-12 residential outdoor school in the state of Idaho.

Every year, we prepare between 16 and 20 talented graduate students in science, communication, teaching and leadership who work with more than 2,500 K-12 students and over 100 teachers. Think of the impact that MOSS could have in helping you to communicate your science. MOSS is strategically positioned and has a strong history of supporting broader impacts associated with scientific research, with particular strengths in STEM education and outreach.

How can YOU  work with MOSS?

We look forward to partnering with you to help you meet your goals.
