Academic Advising Association

The UI ACademic ADvising Association (UI ACADA) is the primary organized group of professional and faculty advisors and student support personnel at the University of Idaho.

We are delighted to announce that two of our campus advisors have been recognized by the National Academic Advising Association (Region 8) for their excellence in academic advising. Please join me in congratulating:

Kris Roby
, college advisor for CLASS, who was awarded a Certificate of Merit in the Professional Academic Advisor category.

Dr. Pingchao Zhu, associate professor of history, who was named this year’s Advising Excellence winner in the faculty advisor category.

These two fantastic advisors will be put forward for national award consideration through NACADA in March, and we are proud to recognize the outstanding advising practice that occurs on our campus.

Again, congratulations to Kris Roby and Dr. Pingchao Zhu!
