2014 STEM Innovations Conference

Idaho STEM Education Challenges and Innovative Solutions:"Overcoming STEM Education Barriers in Rural States".

Where and When:
May 28-29, 2014
Riverside Hotel, 2900 Chinden Boulevard, Boise, Idaho

Who should attend?
Anyone interested in making an impact on STEM Education in their Idaho community including educators, STEM education researchers, outreach programs, and community and business leaders.

Why should you attend?
At the conference you will hear about the latest Idaho research elucidating potential barriers to successfully preparing Idaho youth for careers and in our growing STEM fields. But that’s not all. You will hear about interventions being implemented in Idaho and from around the nation that address these issues and the lessons they have learned. You’ll get great ideas and information on how to implement programs in your community and make a difference. You will hear from national experts like Linda Rosen, Chief Executive Officer of Change the Equation, and Donna Milgram, the Executive Director of the National Institute for Women in Trades, Technology and Science (IWITTS), who share their insights into state and national trends and solutions.
