A culture kit is a collection of materials that represents both traditional and modern aspects of a culture. Kits include items such as clothing, maps, stamps, coins, small flags, art objects, crafts, games, dolls, toys, photos, etc. The items in each kit are meant to be touched and used. The kits are designed to provide a hands-on educational experience, and support the International Baccalaureate program.
Anyone within the state of Idaho may borrow kits for $10 per kit and up to six weeks. University of Idaho students may borrow kits for free for up to three weeks for presentations on and off campus. An agreement to replace or pay for missing or broken items is signed at check out.

to reserve a kit. As soon as your request is received, you will be sent an email letting you know if the kit is available within the period you have requested with an attachment of the Description of Contents for that kit. Borrowers who are unable to pick up kits from the University can have them sent via UPS or USPS within the state of Idaho. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the borrower.
As an international student have you been invited to speak at a grade school about your country? You may borrow a kit to help in your presentation.
