The Delt brotherhood is a very important part of the fraternity. We have events that will increase our bond as brothers and men. Some of our annual events include, out trips to Canada, paint balling, bowling nights, movie nights, our campouts, and annual ski trips.
Delta Tau Delta has a strong scholarship program to help our members achieve their academic goals. The key part of the program is that every member is required to do study tables during the week. This gives the members a scheduled time in the day to study and they are encouraged to study on their own as well. We also do what we can to promote academic success through programming and recognition. Such activities include hosting a professor dinner, academic mentoring, the 5-90 Club, and the chapter awards several scholarships a year based on academics. Last year the scholarships awarded totaled more than $12,000.
The men learn many lessons by giving back to the community and national organizations. We encourage the men's involvement in community service projects. A couple annual projects we continue to do are Adopt-A-School and Highway Cleanup. Our members also participate in the sorority philanthropies.
The chapter host several annual social events, such as Pledge Dance and Russian Ball. The members also participate in competitions like Homecoming and Greek Week. We have many members that play on several intramural teams as well.
