2012 Class of the Academy of Engineers

The University recognizes the lifetime commitments of our Academy members to advancing the quality of life through achievement, high ethical standards, and innovation.

The men and women of our Academy represent the most successful U-Idaho alumni who have contributed in phenomenal ways to the reputation of our College of Engineering and the University of Idaho.

Each class sets the standard for future inductees into the Academy as we recognize the national and international contributions they have made as both citizens and engineers. The Academy members also serve as role models for our students and graduates and help to encourage them to fully use their U-Idaho education and personal talents in making the world a better place.

To me, this is the most important aspect of the Academy of Engineers: inspiring others. I especially want all of our students to note the stories of our Academy members and imagine some of the things they can do during their careers.
