Teaching Assistant, Semester In The WildOriginally from Colorado, I moved to Idaho a year ago in search of more wild places. I am a grad student in Conservation Social Science, and wrapping up my year as a field instructor at the McCall Outdoor Science School. I have been an outdoor leader for six years in Colorado and Idaho. Throughout my undergraduate studies at Colorado College I led wilderness backpacking and rafting trips for my peers, and have coordinated many outdoor orientation programs for high school and college students in Colorado. After completing my undergraduate degree in geology at CC, I served as a full-time T.A. for the Geology Department, coordinating and teaching field classes.
I am excited to continue my studies and work in outdoor leadership with Semester In The Wild. I believe this fall will be formative for students and instructors alike, and I feel privileged to be able to help facilitate the experience.
