You will begin orientation Sunday, August 23, 2015, on campus in Moscow, Idaho.
From there, travel with other students to the University of Idaho's McCall Field Campus for an introduction to Outdoor Leadership and backpacking preparation on August 25 and 26.
Your instructors will transport you to the upper basin of Big Creek on August 27 to begin the river ecology course. You will spend a week learning in the upper basin before hiking to Taylor Wilderness Research Station (TWRS), continuing the river ecology coursework through the hike.
Live and learn at TWRS from September 7 through November 8, then hike back to the upper basin of Big Creek.
Travel with the group to the University of Idaho's Twin Larch facility on Moscow Mountain to wrap up courses and prepare for campus presentations on November 19.
Courses officially end on Friday, December 11, 2015.
