Idaho Highway Funding Survey (2014)
The goals of this survey are to better understand Idaho voters’ opinions on issues related to funding Idaho’s roads, highways, and bridges, and to learn how these opinions are related to highway use and various demographic characteristics.
The McClure Center and the University of Idaho’s Social Science Research Unit are conducting the survey by telephone in winter 2014. The survey is designed to produce unbiased information about voter opinions.
Specific topics of interest are opinions on:
- Highway adequacy and conditions;
- the importance of highway funding relative to other legislative priorities;
- arguments for and against increasing highway funding; and
- alternative revenue sources for highway funding.
Results will be used to inform public policy discussions about highway funding in Idaho.
