Art & Design
Students in the Art and Design program at the University of Idaho develop their own creative voice within our supportive community. Students gain meaningful experience in contemporary studio practice and graphic & experiential design interfaces alongside genuinely engaged faculty. In and out of the classroom, students are given opportunities to collaborate across disciplines in the College of Art & Architecture as well as explore the integrative curriculum of Art and Design.
Our students become critically engaged artists and designers who reach beyond technique and craftsmanship, using creative problem solving to address issues in an increasingly visual world. Graduates of our program become strong visual thinkers and makers well-equipped to pursue graduate-level education or succeed in a variety of careers across the global art and design landscape.
