Idaho WWAMI Pre-Med Mentoring Program
The path to becoming a doctor is long and arduous, which can be intimidating for a pre-medical student. With a focus on supporting students from underrepresented and/or disadvantaged backgrounds, the Idaho WWAMI Pre-Med Mentoring Program connects medical students with their undergraduate peers, building supportive near-peer relationships that help relieve some of the confusion and stress of pursuing a career in medicine.

- Resident of a WWAMI region state (WA, WY, AK, MT, ID)
- Priority will be given to applicants from historically underrepresented populations and/or disadvantaged backgrounds, including racial and ethnic minorities, first-generation college students, students from rural and/or medically underserved communities, and students from low socio-economic backgrounds. If necessary to accommodate demand, priority will be given to Idaho residents.
