First-Time Information Sessions
In order to better serve students, the Study Abroad Office offers First-Time Study Abroad Information Sessions each semester. These sessions help students understand the important elements of preparing for a successful study abroad experience including program selection, academic planning and credit transfer policies, financial aid and scholarships, essential travel documents, etc.
It is required that you attend one of the following sessions or read the First-Time Advising Handbook below before meeting with a Study Abroad Advisor.
All Info Sessions are located in the International Programs Office (IPO) Conference Room. The IPO is located on the Ground Floor of the LLC Building #3.

First-Time Advising Handbook
The Study Abroad Advising Handbook is a useful "first-step" for students interested in pursuing a study abroad experience. Students can read through this handbook in lieu of coming to a First-Time Information Session prior to meeting with a Study Abroad Advisor. The Advising Handbook covers topics such as selecting a program, financing the study abroad experience through financial aid and/or scholarships, credit transfer, and essential documents such as the passport.
