Native Voices Summit
On Wednesday, Sept. 14, the College of Graduate Studies, along with the Pacific Northwest Circle of Success: Mentoring Opportunities in STEM (PNW-COSMOS) Alliance, will be hosting a “Native Voices” Summit. Members of the alliance, as well as members of the National Science Foundation will be arriving on campus to attend. The Native Student Voices Summit will host a number of presentations and student panels focused on Alliance activities and retention and recruitment of Native Americans and Alaska Natives into STEM fields. The University of Idaho plays a lead role in the alliance, as one of the lead institutions for the AGEP-T project (HRD grant #1432910). We are honored to be hosting so many on our beautiful campus!
A schedule will be posted as we get closer to the event.
