Why Idaho?
Of all the schools that I considered, I loved the Boise area, because I grew up on a ranch, so I can be close to everything, and a short drive to the middle of nowhere. I also knew I wanted to be close to a State Capitol, and I was able to achieve that at the Boise location. Additionally, there was so much support during the admissions process, and after I became an admitted.
What advice would you offer to incoming 1Ls?
Don’t sweat the small stuff, you are learning a whole new way to learn. Also, be sure to utilize office hours and never be afraid to ask questions. It’s okay to not understand something at first and need it to be explained in a different way.
Favorite Boise recommendation?
I commute into Boise, so my biggest recommendation, if you can afford to, is to buy the parking pass to the garage. Parking can be stressful downtown, so that has helped alleviate a lot of my stress about parking.
