Medical Education Building
What is now the Idaho WWAMI Medical Education Building was constructed in 1990.
Idaho WWAMI provides a first-rate medical education while introducing students to the challenges and rewards of serving Idaho’s citizens. Since 2015, WWAMI students can complete all four years of medical school in Idaho, with the first two years at the University of Idaho in Moscow. That means 80 medical students are on campus each year.
To accommodate the program's growth and to facilitate a curriculum designed for team-based learning, the WWAMI Medical Education Building was renovated and expanded by 4,070 gsf. Your gift will help Idaho WWAMI finish the final room of this project and provide Idaho’s future doctors with a facility that matches their aspirations.
