My interesting and impactful career path originated with my professors at U of I. Their support and encouragement enabled me to combine the computer engineering of my undergraduate degree with cybersecurity in my graduate work. They were essential in constructing the solid foundation upon which I have built my career. Training Robotics Engineers of the 21st Century

Computer science students work directly with state-of-the-art mobile and full-size robots through our Center for Intelligent Industrial Robotics (CI2R), integrating new robotics research and training labs across the state to prepare students to fill the global manufacturing labor shortage.

Leading Cybersecurity for Three Decades

As one of the National Security Agency’s first seven National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education, the University of Idaho College of Engineering is leading advanced cybersecurity training and education.

The U of I Center for Secure and Dependable Systems is a National Science Foundation Cybercorps: Scholarship for Service Program participant, providing millions in tuition funding to train students to work at the highest levels of government.
