Individuals seeking to become a principal, superintendent or other district administrator may consider a graduate degree or certification in educational leadership from the University of Idaho.

Prospective students should have an academic background comparable to a bachelor's degree in education.

Classes available in online, face-to-face and a mix of both formats.

Program curriculum is aligned to state competencies for school principals and superintendents. 

The University of Idaho’s Educational Leadership Program accepts applications at any time.

The Educational Leadership Program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation and the state of Idaho.

The Educational Leadership Program in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences has many distinguished alumni and a 30-year tradition of serving the state of Idaho. 

Classes provide students with cutting-edge leadership knowledge, skills and dispositions.
