Whether you aim to promote outdoor enjoyment or develop landscapes for economic purposes, managing natural resources involves a balance. You might create business and marketing plans for responsible recreation or work on long-term strategies for economic benefits.

As an NREM Development student, you'll learn about both day-to-day and long-term planning for natural areas and landscapes, including business and land-use management. You will take courses across disciplines to help you get a holistic view and balance different perspectives in the business of natural resources.

Graduates of this program walk into careers possessing a strong foundation in natural resources management and business entrepreneurship and are prepared for exciting opportunities in the eco-tourism, outdoor recreation, outfitter, forestry, ranching and adventure sports industries.
