Outdoor recreation is a $450 billion industry and one of the fastest growing sectors in the United States. Join the next generation of business- and entrepreneurial-minded leaders charting the future of natural resource management.

In the Natural Resources Enterprise Management (NREM) program, you'll learn about business in natural resource management and how to make a mark in the outdoor industry. Top faculty from the College of Natural Resources and College of Business and Economics will help you build your business skills while you gain expertise in natural resources. This prepares you for a dynamic career in resource management and conservation.

No landscape is off limits as you as your develop your skills to complete this degree, translating into future success and life-long memories.

Students in this program can choose from one of two emphasis areas:

  • Development: Prepares students to own and operate their own natural resource-based or outdoor recreation business.
  • Stewardship: Prepares students to manage and administer conservation and preservation efforts at a public agency, private business or nonprofit organization.
