Dr. Nick Sanyal, Professor of Natural Resources and Society, at University of Idaho and Kevin Kicking Woman, Tribal Outreach Coordinator at the University of Montana, discuss mentoring based on a review of the literature and experience — including providing guidance, support, feedback, and information; being an advocate and a mentor for a student; and recognizing the vital role of giving back to the community.
