Internships

A student hangs lights in the theatre.

Internships are highly encouraged for all students pursuing a degree in theatre at all levels. At the graduate level they are required. Internships play a vital role in establishing both industry connections and in expanding a student's portfolio for future employment.

Internships are available at regional theatres throughout the country. While primarily summer internships are encouraged, academic year internships are available at many companies as well.

Credit is available for students successful in landing internships at any time during the year. Download the Internship Form and schedule a meeting with faculty to share your plans, and obtain faculty advice and help for a successful internship experience.
