Experiment Participation

There are many psychology research studies currently being conducted at the University of Idaho, and many of these welcome students as research participants. Students enrolled in designated classes, eligible to participate in experiments, are sent account information and login instructions at the beginning of each semester.

Signing Up for Experiments through SONA

• Login to SONA using the first portion of your email (before the @vandals.uidaho.edu) and your password, which is emailed when your account is activated. 
• If needed, use the Forgot Password? button on the SONA login page.
• Each experiment details the time, place, and approximate length on the sign-up page. Make sure to write down all information when signing up. If you are unable to participate after signing up, make sure to heed the deadlines for the experiment and send appropriate notice to the researcher involved.
• Many psychology classes offer extra credit for participating in these experiments.
