Cello Instructor—Preparatory Division
Cameron MacMillan completed his Bachelor of Music degree, magna cum laude, in cello performance at the Florida State University with cello professor Greg Sauer in May of 2017, and earned his Master of Music degree at the University of Oklahoma in 2021, working as a graduate teaching assistant in Music History, and further studying cello performance under critically acclaimed cellist Jonathan Ruck.

Cameron’s summer festival activity includes the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival at the University of Vermont and the Brevard Music Festival of North Carolina. He has performed as a solo recitalist, chamber musician, orchestral soloist, and principal and/or section cellist in various civic, regional, collegiate, and school orchestras in Florida and Oklahoma, and currently plays cello in the Washington-Idaho Symphony orchestra here in the Palouse area.
Cameron is an active member of both the Music Teachers National Association and the Suzuki Association of the Americas, and is certified in teaching the foundational cello repertoire of the Suzuki Method.
