Research

The Martin Institute seeks to produce scholars who contribute to the global community by providing a host of research opportunities.

Among these opportunities are the Martin Academy (designed for sophomores), the Martin Scholars program (designed for seniors) and the Journal of the Martin Institute | International Studies (which features top research produced in the IS capstone course).

The Martin Institute also collaborates with the Idaho Society of Fellows to bring in postdoctoral researchers to the Martin Institute. The postdoctoral fellow joins the Institute for a two-year appointment and will teach two courses per year. To learn more or apply, visit Idaho Society of Fellows. Meet our current Martin Institute research fellow: Tyler Parker.

Other research opportunities include support for research grant proposals, poster projects, paid research internships, specialized research groups and mentored research.
