2021 Archives
The 2021 Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival concerts will feature some of today’s brightest stars in jazz as well as archive footage of past jazz greats performing with Hamp himself. Tune in from anywhere in the world to take a break from everyday life and enjoy the music from incredible artists both past and present.

Thursday Concerts – Feb. 25
- Hamp's Gala – 2:30 p.m. PST: A time-honored tradition, Hamp’s Gala will conclude the Lionel Hampton School of Music Day with performances in jazz and classical genres from outstanding University of Idaho students and faculty.
- Lionel Hampton: A Lifetime of Achievement – 5 p.m. PST: Join us as we honor 2021 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner Lionel Hampton with exclusive archival footage, historical discussions, and personal stories from former Festival Director and Professor Emeritus Lynn "Doc" Skinner and Lionel Hampton Big Band members Christian Fabian, Cleave Guyton and Lance Bryant.
