Spring 2024 Coeur d’Alene Student Ambassadors

Emma Gustin and Melanie Fry, both seniors in our Elementary Education B.S.Ed. program, are our Spring 2024 Coeur d’Alene Student Ambassadors.

Both Emma and Melanie bring incredible enthusiasm and talent for encouraging students to complete their education at U of I Coeur d’Alene and for nurturing a greater sense of community among all students.

This semester, they’ve dedicated themselves to cultivating a vibrant and inclusive campus community – especially among our students! – and promoting the outstanding opportunities offered at U of I Coeur d’Alene to prospective students and community members.

Look for Emma and Melanie to:

• Lead Student Advisory Group meetings and take action on student recommendations
• Coffee hours and networking socials for students and faculty
• Share what’s happening at U of I Coeur d’Alene via Facebook and Instagram
• Plan and throw fun events to celebrate successes and milestones

Upon graduation, both plan to begin their teaching careers in our local schools and to continue contributing to and supporting the U of I Coeur d’Alene community.
