Student Opportunities

Students in our Interior Architecture and Design Program make profound and positive impacts on their communities through outreach related to the interior structural design of facilities used for healthcare, education and other civic activities. They have the opportunity to build their capacities and portfolios through:

• Travel to urban centers like Boise; Spokane and Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; and New York City. While visiting notable design firms and witnessing exemplary interior architecture and design, they make connections with leaders in the industry and learn about design opportunities in their field.
• Study abroad programs like Academia Italiana, which give students further opportunities for growth and immersion in international design cultures.
• Participation in annual design competitions.
