a.Kiara is an up-and-coming Sculptor, Ceramicist, and Art Historian. a.Kiara’s artistic musings unravel the layers of her identity as an African American and Puerto Rican artist. Her Caribbean heritage is reclaimed in her ceramic practices and she finds empowerment in her black womanhood through her figurative works. Her portfolio ranges from self-portraits to wide scale expressions of her cultural identity.
