Veteran Care for Substance Use Disorders
About the Series
ECHO Idaho’s Veteran Care for Substance Use Disorders series provides a virtual platform for clinicians and public health professionals to understand how substance use is affecting the Veteran population across the state of Idaho.
Led by an interdisciplinary panel of experts specializing in substance use disorders, including expertise in addiction medicine, counseling, psychiatry, and social work, this series helps participants learn and implement best practices for treating Veteran patients with substance use disorders. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary conversations and case-based learning. These hour-long, virtual sessions are a convenient and interactive form of learning designed to be immediately applied to your current practice.
Noon to 1 p.m. Mountain time, second and fourth Tuesdays from March 12 - August 27 of 2024.

The Veteran Care for Substance Use Disorders series equips learners from all medical disciplines, including primary care providers (MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, PharmD), counselors, social workers, psychologists, community organizations, and public health professionals, with strategies to address substance use among the Veteran population.
