Discover Idaho
Scholarship Program

Discover Fresh Perspective. Discover Idaho.

U of I offers more than $25 million in scholarship awards annually. That’s enough for thousands of new students to discover fresh perspectives. The Discover Idaho Award makes it easier than ever for non-resident students to afford a top-notch education from one of the nation’s top land-grant research universities. Discover Idaho – discover the world.

What is the Discover Idaho Award?

The Discover Idaho Award recognizes non-resident students with academic merit scholarships, based on your accredited high school unweighted GPA. If you maintain continuous enrollment and a GPA of 2.5 or better as a U of I student, you are guaranteed to qualify for a minimum level of funding for up to four years. Home-schooled students and students from non-accredited high schools are considered based on ACT and SAT scores.

Don’t leave money on the table – see if there’s an award waiting for you!

Qualifying for the Discover Idaho Award

The Discover Idaho Award provides funding for non-resident students entering U of I directly from high school or home school. The four funding levels are based on a student's final, unweighted GPA.
