3-month pass option for Independent Users -- All users must be trained individually by the OIC Director. There are some limitations associated with the passes so as to continue to allow access to hourly users. For the Confocal Pass, one can only reserve 3 hours in one session and 10 hours in one week. For the Flow Cytometer Pass, one is allowed to reserve 4 hours per session and 15 hours per week. For the Analysis Pass, a user can reserve 4 hours per session and 15 hours per week.

All users of the Optical Imaging Core must abide by Biosafety Level II safety policies, take proper care of instruments, log usage time and use their card access privileges only for the cardholder. Deviations from acceptable protocol are reasons for dismissal from the OIC.
