Each student is assigned an advisor to guide them through their academic career. The academic department in which the student is majoring assigns an advisor to each student. If a student changes majors, a new advisor will be assigned by the new academic department and the academic department or new advisor will update the student's record to reflect this change.
Students with questions or concerns about the advisor assigned on their records should contact their academic department office.
Incoming students may use as a resource, the advising contacts information for all majors provided by the Academic Advising Center, to begin the making contact with an advisor in their academic department.
