Course numbers and subject prefixes are changed, new courses are added, and courses are dropped or made dormant each year. A list of the course changes is available as a sortable Excel spreadsheet.
Courses in the Excel spreadsheet are sorted by the old subject prefix and/or course number — the user can sort information as needed. The list indicates what action was taken with the course (e.g. number change, dropped, made dormant). For course number changes, the new course is also listed if there is one, or a suggested substitution noted. The effective term for each change is noted in the Effective Date column.
Students should always check with their advisor and/or the Registrar's Office about courses that have changed when determining an equivalent course to repeat for grade improvement or degree requirements.
