University Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan
The University of Idaho prides itself on a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. At the same time, we recognize that each of us as individuals and our community as a collective whole has the responsibility of knowing policies, procedures and resources that may keep us safe from natural or man-made disasters.
The university-wide Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan
is designed as an all-hazards plan. In addition, it includes the emergency organizational structure, alerts and notifications, protective actions, and the emergency management phases.
The emergency response plan is activated by a disaster declaration at the campus level. The main campus in Moscow is in the jurisdiction of the Moscow Police Department and the Moscow Fire Department.
